Well an epoch making event has just happened, Shahrukh Khan has turned 40 !!! This blog is dedicated to him and one of our esteemed reader who posted one of our hate mails for an earlier blog.
First and Foremost - Lets talk about the newest resolution of Shahrukh Khan -
"He is going to quit smoking"
Its quite a bold step to do. Infact, I believe he started smoking to show that he is a man enough. But after his happy relationship with his friend Karan Johar, I guess he has realized that he does not need to be a man anymore and can return to his basic instincts ... of bein a woman ...

The fallouts :-
1. We will have to endure more of his movies and his bakwaas for the coming decade. It was becoming unbearable but now since he wont die fast ... I can only worry about the future in Bollywood movies for us.
2. Infact i shudder at the thought when my Kid will ask "Why was sharukh khan considered such a best actor " in the most sarcastic voice. I guess the answer to that would be He is basically an embodiment of a female trapped in a male body and his constant trials and tribulations to retain his original form.
3. With Karan Johar not smoking too .. I guess we will see more relationship and association between SRK and KJ ... spells more trouble for us.

I hope to see a movie where apna GOD (Amitji) kill him in a classic showdown in all the SeVen ways possible. We need a redeemer !!!

Moral of the story (based solely on the Blog):
1. Like father like son- Kausum's son is gonna be poor in English ("Why was sharukh khan considered such a best actor ")
2. Kausum is a better actor than me ("I have better talent than him in acting or even Balls.")

SRK isn't my favourite actor... but why does everyone take his case sooo much. Govinda, Sunil( Suneil) Shetty, Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Jitendra, Rishi Kapoor, .....and many others are worse than Shah Rukh Khan.
Atleast Shah Rukh Khan .. by some stroke of luck ends up in a movie with a decent heroine and decent music.
Which is more than what we others can say about others.
... I have a qu..when a great actor like Amitabh says Shah Rukh Khan is a nice person, good actor, ..etc etc. what do you think is the reason behind this comment/statement ???

If you are a person of Amitabh's stature, making politically correct statements is a part of your resume. How can Amitabh say to the press that he hates Shahrukh Khan ( his mannerisms, his pretence for acting etc etc) with every breath he(Amitabh) can muster..even if he so really wants to say that ? hence you never really know the truth behind those statements...
I agree that Amitabh has to make politically correct statements, but for once, why do we not give SRK the benefit of doubt and do believe that Amit is infact not making a empty gesture , but he really means it. Why is it so difficult for us to believe that SRK might indeed be good? We will never know the truth behind the statements, but we still hang SRK without a trial.Is that not a bit unfair?
A few key notes
(1) Kausum, don't home school your child.
(2) I think that Akshay Kumah is a good actor, bettah than SRK. See Police Force!!! Everything comes together in the end, what planning.
(3) Marw, well done, you have kept up your role as the permanent devil's advocate. Unfortunately, in this case, whatever you say is going to fall on deaf ears.

Well its hell of easy to critize anyone, especially those who are popular...u keep mentioning asoka n lux ad ? i guess every SRK hater does...but why dont they mention DDLJ, baazigar, kabhi haan kabhi na et al...infact the list is endless..
generally actresses r in lux ads because "Sex" sells, but SRK too is as bigger a star to sell any product (be it a soap) as any of actresses would be..so he is there...
