I was looking at Forbes 400 richest in america 2000. Gururaj Deshpande's name showed up here.To search for more material on him, I googled "Gururaj Deshpande", first link that came up was this. I started looking at http://dalitstan.org/ whose objective apparently is "Human Rights Organization working for the Upliftment of Dalits". I started delving more into the articles posted on this crappy little website and going by today's proceedings thought this was the article I should choose to put up.

I seriously dont get this shit....
1. Currently who is the oppressed class here?? They..whose children get admissions in Engg colleges by securing 50-60% marks or us who dont get free seats by securing 90-95% ?
2. Would our respect for Sachin have gone down if he was born a dalit? Dont we respect ppl like Illayaraja even though he is a Dalit?
3. I completely agree that what we did to them for a long time wasnt right. But do they need upliftment now??? They have been sitting on their asses chewing on the spots that cudve been taken by more deserving candidates.
4. Am I wrong here in saying that most of the ppl who have made it to the top are all from the upper class? You can get a clear picture of y they havent come out the shell of "2000 yrs of opression" frame of mind.
5. Sachin never did and never wud for that matter play the 'Brahmin card' so to speak. Does he play only for the upper class ppl? Hasnt he sacrificed his entire youth, the joys of parenthood and family life for his country. When these fuckers who talk abt dalit upliftment understand this feeling of oneness/patriotism, they wudve taken their first steps towards "progress".

Tried to search for the professor and the institute where he is the professor and I dont find it at all. Neither is it mentioned anywhere in the site.
IMHO, the biggest mistake on our part to make is to give them a hearing. We have had ppl like these (who can find a wrong in everything) through the ages. People with consipracy theories, who feel the whole world is evil have always existed and will exist to the end of time.
The best thing for us to do is turn a blind eye, let them rant into oblivion.
(And this be done for all the anti-dalits/ pro-brahmins equally and there must exist the pro-brahmins types too for sure.)
