Been a while since i wrote on this.....a lot of flak, grappling the Blog funda and some overtly poor posts on this has prompted me to write. So here we go......

So wat do I write abt.....Cricket....well thats too common and aint 'grey cell' tickling material for a start atleast. Same applies to Metallica or Iron Maiden or Amitabh or for that matter even Altaf!! So wat does all these have in common...(apart from all of em having dicks).....see the other facet of it....the fanaticism, the craving for ur idols and the undying adulations. Yeah the fulcrum of being a freak...a fanatic .... a mad 'FAN'.

Ever wondered y we get up at wee hours in the morning for a cricket match (having to bear the idiosyncracies of dumbwitted 'so called cricket fans') or bunk classes to see a soccer match or have this blogger set up??? Who the fuck cares..... eat sleep breathe 'sex'..... ooopps sorry sport. Imagine life w/o our constant bickering and squabbles of who scored the first golden goal or whether Maninder or Raju got hit more times in the 'box' or talk abt how handsome 'Klums' is in real life. Boy wud life suck or wat.....

Take for example the WC scenario.....a lot of things flash thru my mind as i write this.....as to how ppl wud urge me to go and have a smoke if a wkt did not fall (AND THE MAN GRACIOUSLY AGREED .... A SACRIFICE IM EVER READY TO DO FOR MY COUNTRY). A sometimes it did work......( actually i used to quickly call up Wasim bhai to seek his blessings!!).

Day2....(of writing a blog...boy am i slow or wat)....
Scene: Indo Pak ODI 2......
Venue: Andy's place....
Was always circumspect on watching the match at a place with 3-4 gals.....dunno how they wud react to our technical mumbo-jumbos (culminating with galis
galore and a few blows too perhaps). But to my surprise and relief ...they were far far better than the ppl whom we watched the WC with. Cheering every run...praying...superstition is wat u associate with us 'freaks'.... but boy was it a breathe of fresh air to see the gals follow the bent grass or wat!
Kudos to Uttara, Aarthi and poorva for showing the passion and love for the game.
The match itself....well wat to say abt it.....fabulous entertaintment (inspite of the gotex moomex syndrome)Powar a real find......said the same thing years ago abt Badani and Ritinder Sodhi too.....absolute damb squibs both. But hope im proved wrong...the talent in the man is there to see and the 'jigar' is refreshing... Robin anyone??

So with the cricket series balanced beautifully....the EPL almost settled and the Champs setup nice and interesting....things are gonna be fun for the rest of the spring. And waddya have for the summer...yeaaaaahhhh the Euro Cup....thats gonna be the bomb man!
So keep the blogs rollin guys and i promise...ill be in there....active as ever.
